The National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. (NGH) is one of the long-standing professional organizations dedicated to the education, ethical practice, and advancement of hypnotism. Founded in Boston in 1950, the NGH has helped shape the field by bringing hypnotists, instructors, and related professionals together for training, fellowship, continuing education, and the free exchange of ideas.

For decades, the Guild has supported professional standards in hypnotism through certification training, Board Certification opportunities, Standards of Practice, a Code of Ethics, member education, publications, referrals, and professional resources. Its mission reflects the practical, client-centered work of hypnotherapists and consulting hypnotists: helping ordinary, everyday people with ordinary, everyday problems through individual hypnotic techniques.

The NGH continues to serve as a professional home for hypnotists who value education, integrity, cooperation, and lifelong learning.
